Why an independent inspector matters
AS 2316 requires the annual comprehensive inspection to be carried out by a competent person who is external to the climbing facility operator. We also strongly recommend that your inspector is not the company that built the wall.
As an independent third party with no stake in the construction, our only focus is the safety and compliance of your wall, and we bring a very broad view of how walls are built and run across Australia and New Zealand.

Your inspection report
You receive a clear written report covering all aspects of AS 2316. Every issue is explained with a detailed recommendation: what must be fixed before climbing continues, what needs fixing within a set timeframe, and additional recommendations to improve safety and day-to-day operation.
Advice and training for operators
Between inspections, AS 2316 expects operators to carry out their own routine and operational checks. We train your staff to do them properly and advise on maintenance, record-keeping and risk management.
